We are pleased to announce the European Plaxis Users Meeting 2010. The meeting is scheduled to be held on November 10-12 in Karlsruhe, Germany. Just as in previous years, the Bundesanstalt für Wasserbau (BAW) will be the host of these meetings. During the meetings, users as well as developers will give presentations on the use of the Plaxis software in engineering and research projects. In addition to the presentations some extra time is scheduled for open discussion and general questions on Plaxis. The official language at the meeting is English. Participants are kindly invited to prepare a full presentation or to prepare small contributions for the discussion sessions.
Besides the more official part of the meeting, you will have the opportunity to exchange experiences with other users. Another important aspect of these meetings is the interaction between users and developers, which is vital for current and future developments. Participation in the meeting is free of charge; however, expenses such as lunch, dinner and hotel accommodation are at your own cost.
Please register before 16 October 2010 to Plaxis bv. After the closing date for registration participants will receive a confirmation and more detailed information on location, hotels, etc. Participants are kindly invited to prepare a presentation (max. 20 minutes) of an interesting project in which one of the Plaxis programs was used.
Participants who wish to give a presentation should indicate this during registration and should send a title and summary (½ A4 size) by e-mail to: info@plaxis.nl. We also welcome suggestions for group discussions (see provisional programme). Presentations should preferably be made in Power Point so that they can be easily distributed on CD to all participants after the meeting. We are looking forward to receiving your registration and to meet you in Karlsruhe.
Registration is not yet opened. For questions, please use the contact form.
