- Title: UDSM - e-ADP Anisotropic strength model
e-ADP is an elasto-plastic material model that account for the anisotropic (stress-dependent) and non-linear behaviour of clay subjected to undrained loading. The model is formulated using total stresses . The input parameters to the model include undrained shear strengths (su) and corresponding shear strains at failure (gamma_f) for three different modes of loading, compression (C), extension (E) and direct simple shear (DSS). The model is applied both for capacity analyses (e.g. bearing capacity) and for deformation analyses (e.g. supported excavations). The model is limited to plane strain applications.
