Plaxis Bulletin Issue 30 is here!
The new Autumn 2011 issue of the Plaxis Bulletin is here!
In this bulletin more information is given on the 2D implementation of “Design Approaches” in the new 2011 version, which provides a platform for design calculations. More information is given in the New Developments column as well as the example described thereafter. In addition to the new Design Approaches facility in Plaxis there are some interesting contributions from users.
The first user contribution involves the analysis of a slurry trench wall in Budapest using an axisymmetric Plaxis model. The second user contribution shows the results of a feasibility study on creating a building above the railway tunnel section at the “Linker Maasoever” in Rotterdam. Further more, the Bulletin describes the positive experiences of a company with Plaxis Expert Services and gives an overview of recent activities, with a special update on our activities in Asia and North America.
