Update: Clean drinking water in Bangladesh
At the moment we are still busy with processing the results of the survey which many of our customers filled in.
What we can announce is that thanks to all of you that filled in the survey, the project to supply safe drinking water for school children in Bangladesh was a great success.
At many schools new latrines have already been placed, and there are reports of many children returning to school now that there are toilette and drinking water facilities.
Because of the success of this project, instead of the previously decided amount of 100 schools, 110 schools where selected in conjunction with the local population. The local government was also involved with the design and implementation of the project in order to assure the local ownership of the results.
