A new update is available for PLAXIS 2D version 9.02
June 23, 2009
PLAXIS 2D Version 9.02 contains an improved feature :
- In Plaxis 2D Version 9.02 the stage regeneration has been improved. Not only changes in materials, but also in load values or displacement values made in the Input module prior to the mesh generation will be incorporated for all consecutive phases as long as the configuration does not change from the initial configuration.
For PLAXIS 2D version 9.02, the following major issues have been solved:
- In Plaxis 2D 9.01, the combination of a non-linear phase tree and the deletion of a lot of phases leads to a "Phase Index out of Bounds"-error. In Plaxis 2D V9.02 this problem has been fixed.
- The regeneration of a combination of closed flow and closed consolidation boundaries in Plaxis 2D 9.01 leads to incorrect boundary conditions. This is solved for Plaxis 2D version 9.02.
- In Plaxis 2D Version 9.0, there was some confusion about mesh regeneration after a load change, done in the geometry input. Plaxis 2D Version 9.02 deals with this more user friendly.
- Certain combinations of your general settings could lead to unreadable rulers. This problem has been fixed for Plaxis 2D Version 9.02.
- When choosing the variable "time" in the Soiltest-application, Plaxis 2D selected the variable "t" instead. In Plaxis 2D Version 9.02 this has been solved.
- Sometimes, when Plaxis Input is being closed, the program gives an Application Error ("The memory could not be read"). This problem has been fixed for Plaxis 2D 9.02
