Company profile
At Plaxis we are very good at computational geomechanics and focused on developing, marketing and supporting the Plaxis finite element software applications for soil and rock analyses. Our software is used all over the world by thousands of engineers faced with challenging construction projects (for example foundations of high rise buildings, tunnels, and dikes).
It is our goal to become the vendor of choice for even more customers. To reach even more customers we keep enriching and improving our software every day. We are looking for talented new colleagues who can help us reach that goal. For our Quality and International Support team we are looking for Quality engineers.
Function descriptionEach application is developed by a project team consisting of developers, software quality engineers, geotechnical engineers and scientists, which makes for a stimulating and informal working environment. Throughout the entire development process of these geomechanical applications, different software applications for quality assurance are being used to verify and ensure the quality level of the PLAXIS 2D and PLAXIS 3D software programs.
One of your main tasks will be to develop and maintain these quality assurance applications. They are and will remain a vital part in any commercial release process of the Plaxis 2D and 3D software packages. You will also design structured test procedures and test plans for any new development for the Plaxis 2D and 3D applications.
Knowledge of the PLAXIS 2D and/or PLAXIS 3D software packages is not mandatory.
Becoming Quality Assurance team leader is a realistic career development path for a Software Quality Engineer.
