- Title: DFI Liquefaction State-of-the-Art Forum
- Date: April 19, 2012
- Till: April 19, 2012
- Location: St. Louis MO, U.S.A.
- Organisers: Deep Foundations Institute
DFI's Ground Improvement Committee is hosting a one-day series of state-of-the art lectures by leaders in the study and research of earthquake-induced liquefaction. This event will take place in St. Louis, MO in April 2012. Topics will include the behavior of liquefied soil, approaches to minimize the risk and mitigate the effects of liquefaction, and the performance of structures during liquefaction (including first-hand reports of damage from recent earthquakes in New Zealand and Japan). The event will wrap up with a round-table discussion by the lecturers who will respond to questions and comments from the attendees, followed by a networking reception.
