- Title: Advanced Course on Computational Geotechnics
- Date: June 27, 2012
- Till: June 29, 2012
- Location: New York, U.S.A.
- Organisers: Plaxis bv
- Price: USD 1.600,00
The well established advanced course on Computational Geotechnics, also known as the course for Experienced Plaxis users will be organized this year for the first time in New York. The course is a continuation of the standard course on Computational Geotechnics. Whilst the standard course concentrates on engineering aspects and 2D modelling, the advanced course fully focuses on the background of the advanced constitutive models and 3D modelling. Another aim of the course is the numerical analysis of geotechnical problems, such as excavations, soil improvements, embankments and foundations. Practical cases are presented to illustrate this.
